Recently, Allison and I visited Minnesotas largest candy store. The packaging was to die for as well as the candy. A great visit for any fall day. All the old candy you can't fund any more as well as fresh Carmel apples and pie. Can't beat that!

Typically I would say no to this sort of project, but in this case I made an exception. Elyse and Brad are just way to cool and deserve a wedding and design just as cool. Not only am a fan of a new car, but very much in love with the design and history of jeep. I grew up loving jeeps since I was a little girl and my grandpa used to drive us around in his topless baby blue jeep. It also may have something to do with the simplistic and beautiful branding and design, I'm in love.

I'm extremely excited to join a new creative family at HartungKemp. I will forever be grateful for the opportunities had at OLSON and the great people I have met and learned from along the way. I know they will continue to be a creative force, nation wide and I look forward to seeing the journey they lead into the future.

I can barely stand the excitement I have, to be a part of a strong design force in Minneapolis. It will be a fun and new experience to learn from a strong creatively talented and smart group of designers at HK. I'm eager to begin working on a wider scope of projects, from packaging to branding as well as more interactive. Rock & Roll! I look forward to sharing my new journey and the great projects along the way. Stay tuned: )

Northern Spring

This is a project that began as a joke with my parents while having a drink on a boat on the lake on a hot summer evening. I told them that I wanted to someday/very soon own my own company and do all the design and branding for it. They decided as a joke that I should start a spring water company taken from the cabin. I said actually... That's not a bad idea. The rest remains to be accomplished beyond the branding. Hopefully in a few more weeks I will show the fam. Haha!

Duluth stay-cation

I love this new video created by coke's design director. SInce I was a young child Coca Cola and it's design has always been a main attraction and love for the eyes. Coke became one of the first packaged product of purchase for me due to it's design and loveliness. I believe my first collectors bottle was purchased by me at the age of 10 inside the local smoke shop a few blocks from my parents house. Never did I drink the soda, I just placed it in a safe spot on the shelf where it has stayed and grown for many more years.

I'm thinking it could be fun to do store displays/interior spaces and other things such as this for a living. There's so much more when not restricted to a monitor or some other lame and restricted space. I enjoy how my audience gets to interact with printed materials and the space they themselves occupy. This new piece not only pops from the wall once again but also includes magnetic giant type pieces for the crew to rearrange and interact with the design/messaging. I'm taking the interaction of the internets to print. Lots of fun! This is not the final piece by the way so I promise to post photos shortly.

Target Weekly Ads got Diana written all over it this week. The Weekly Ad emails everyone receives is all me as well,but for some reason I don't have an available image. i have the oppurtunity to do much cooler projects on a daily basis but what is so special with Target's Weekly Ad is it is one of the most visited sites in the U.S.

The man knew how to reach all spectrums of life single handedly through his unexplainable dance moves, voice and presentation as well song writing skills, self promotion and mazing video direction. And one must never let down his unexplainable work ethic, drive and passion!
